Sam,
I appreciate the time you took to copy and paste this from whatever right wing evangelical site you found it, but it’s obvious neither you, nor they, know what CRT is. Your definition in #1 is categorically incorrect.
CRT is not about saying white people today are “guilty” of anything. They benefit from decisions made in the past. That is a fact. And those benefits give them a privilege in a society that rewards proximity to whiteness.
It’s not about “mob rule.” It’s about looking at systems in effect today that were born out of Jim Crow, slavery, and 100+ years of media imagery. Nothing in the Bible precludes people from examining that.
Lastly, cherry picking Bible verses out of historical or even biblical context is spiritual abuse 101. It never works and for years has been used to oppress women, people of color, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and anyone else that would stand up to the established power structure.
I assume you’re a Christian. If so, try acting more like Jesus in your approach to addressing CRT with people for whom it’s trying to help.
