I reject your notion that it’s a term to attack people. It’s a term that states an objective fact if you live in this country. The only reason I have this exercise is because so many people deny the fact and are easily offended when there is no reason to be. The goal isn’t to “win” a debate. It’s to earn and gain compassion and empathy. That won’t happen if one remains blind to that truth.
