I definitely agree that a lack of mutual agreed upon definitions leads to many of these issues not being addressed. But a turd by any other name still smells like sh*t. Should it matter what we call it if the problem still exists?

Lastly, word definitions evolve. There was a time that being “gay” just meant being happy. And once upon a time “literally” literally meant “literally.” Now it also means “figuratively.” And as much as I hate that, I have to now literally live with it. 😀
