First off Stephen, I appreciate your responses. Even if we’re the only two people who ever discusses these, that’s okay with me. Ha! They’re good conversations to be had. Like two friends in a coffee shop. Like “My Dinner with Andre” (even though, admittedly, I never could get through that movie.)

I’m glad the story resonates with you. And yes, I have many more examples. It’s a sad thing indeed.

The question is: what do we do? How do we handle it when we see our loved ones so completely lost to adopting social mores that seem to utterly and completely lack any moral fundamentals?
